Our approach to coaching and consulting is rooted in the Christian virtues of stewardship and service - principles that guide how we lead, support, and grow alongside our clients. Inspired by the call to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19), we do not require a shared faith, but we do ask that all who partner with us respect and understand the virtues that shape our work: honoring what we've been entrusted with and serving others with humility and care.

The Mission of Our Agency

Company founder, Coach Joe Austin, also sees business strategy as a life of purpose. “Business owners have a high rate of suicide and divorce,” Austin said, “and I would like to help change that. For every marriage that ends due to a lack of love, one hundred end due to a lack of money.”
After two-and-a-half decades of coaching 18 to 22-year-old young men, Austin has refocused his passion for coaching on the development of entrepreneurs and small business owners. Austin spent 16 of his 25 seasons in college football as a head coach, winning two conference championships and five bowl games. During the last ten years of his football career, Austin also began consulting with organizations in the United States, Mexico and Europe.
Upon retiring from college football, Austin announced the formation of CJA Business Strategy, an agency focused on profit acceleration for small businesses. About the agency Austin says, “Our coaches are passionate about assisting business owners who are not growing as fast as they would like or are possibly in trouble. We help them understand why that’s happening and then we give them a proven process that helps them to immediately attract more clients and make more money than they ever have.”
Prioritizing family was a major driver in Austin starting CJA Business Strategy. Austin posted about his retirement from college football on social media, saying, “For the first time in my adult life I am putting the needs of my aging parents ahead of the needs of administrators, the needs of my wife ahead of the needs of the coaching staff, and the needs of my daughter ahead of the needs of other people’s children. This was a prayerful decision that I am very comfortable with.”
Aside from coaching, Austin is a world-class powerlifter. In 2024 and 2025 Austin won the United States Powerlifting Association’s Drug Tested National Champion while posting Texas state records for his division in the squat, bench press and meet total. In November,
